Take part in the nationwide survey shedding light on the wellbeing of network managers in education
The discussion of wellbeing of school staff is often centred around teachers and educators, overlooking the crucial work of those in support and administration roles, such as IT and network managers.
“Supporting Staff Wellbeing in Schools”, a publication promoted by the DfE, starts by saying that “teaching is a tough job”. But what we think is missed is that so much of learning in schools depends on IT support. If the technology fails or there’s a security breach, fingers will be pointed.
We know how challenging and isolating these roles can be, as many of our team worked in schools as IT support before joining SalamanderSoft.
People come to you stressed, seeking quick resolutions so they can continue with their day, yet the complexities and pressures of your role often go unnoticed.
At SalamanderSoft, we recognise the invaluable work you do, and we’re committed to raising awareness about the wellbeing of IT staff in education.
We’re conducting a nationwide wellbeing survey specifically for IT professionals who work in education…and we need your input!
By participating in our short survey, you can help us gather valuable insights into the challenges you face, the impact on your wellbeing and the support you require. We’ve made sure that the survey is quick and easy to complete, taking only a few minutes of your time. And, be rest assured that your responses will remain completely anonymous, allowing you to freely express your thoughts and feelings.
Have your say about the wellbeing of IT managers who work in education.
After collecting and analysing all the responses from the survey, we plan to compile and publish a comprehensive report that reflects the experiences of IT professionals in education across the country.
By shining a light on the common issues IT staff in education face and the impact on wellbeing, we can work towards shaping a brighter future for everyone working in education.
We sincerely hope you can spare a few minutes out of your schedule to participate in our survey.
If you’d like to receive a copy of the report, you have the option to leave your email address at the end of the survey to be one of the first to receive it when it’s published.
