It’s that time of the year again, and Bett is again upon us, starting next Wednesday. This year we decided to have our own stand instead of being on the Microsoft Partner Village. We are really excited about this and our stand number is C210, opposite Google on the main corridor leading to the Bett Arena.

Over the course of the show, the entire team will be rotating through (rota below) and we would love to see as many of you as possible over the 4 days. Our rota is below, but feel free to just drop by and say hello and chat about our products and recent developments. We even have a seating area and coffee machine if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bett for a while.

We also have an exciting new partnership with Cloud Design Box who will also be on our stand highlighting how they can light up SharePoint in Education, building on top of the functionality of Salamander SharePoint. While we still provide the MIS integration engine, Salamander SharePoint is now installed, supported and enhanced by Cloud Design Box leveraging their excellence in the use of SharePoint with our best in the market integration engine.

As part of this partnership Darren has moved to Cloud Design Box to continue providing support for Salamander SharePoint and much more. Tony, Darren & Lloyd will be present and both they and we are happy to talk about how you move forward with SharePoint or start your journey with it.

At Bett we will be launching:

Our new free utility ‘Salamander for Apple School Manager’ for uploading data to Apple School Manager directly from your MIS

Existing functionality we are showcasing include:

Microsoft Teams and School Data Sync including our free utility for uploading data

Office 365 user and group creation and maintenance, licenses, photos, timetables and more.

OneNote Class Notebook provisioning and use.

G-Suite user and group creation and maintenance, licenses, photos, timetables, sites, drive, cloud print and more.

Google Classroom including guardian and calendar support

Active Directory user and group creation, maintenance and more.

Write back of usernames, email addresses and user defined fields into your MIS (where supported by the MIS). Also creation of SIMs system users.

Support for the above for all UK MISs including Capita SIMS, RM Integris, Progresso, Facility CMIS, iSAMS, WCBS Pass & 3 Sys, Bromcom, Arbor and many overseas ones

In conjunction with Cloud Design Box:

Use of Office 365 as a learning environment

SharePoint as a learning environment including class & subject sites, OneNote creation, blogs and more..
