SalamanderSoft has achieved the Microsoft School Data Sync Professional Partner certification – the highest certification for Microsoft SDS.
Microsoft SDS (School Data Sync) helps to simplify class management in Microsoft 365, processing class data from your MIS/SIS data and creating classes and groups for Microsoft Teams.
The Professional Partner Certification is part of the Microsoft Partner Success Series for Microsoft SDS. The course explored several advanced SDS topics, including troubleshooting SDS syncs and using Microsoft Graph API with SDS.
It’s an essential part of what we do for our customers who use the Microsoft suite, so it was vital that our team gained the Professional Partner certification as soon as it was made available.
The accreditation – alongside our status as a Microsoft Partner - helps us to continuously improve our skills and keep up to date with the latest changes to SDS.
SalamanderSoft currently supports hundreds of schools and trusts with SDS.
An example of this in action is our work with Excalibur Academies Trust, where our team has set up and managed School Data Sync and Microsoft’s Azure Active Directory, meaning that all classes are set up automatically for teachers in Teams, ready for learning to begin.
“One of the first things I did when joining the school was set up our partnership with Salamander. This saves hours of organisation and management; all our teachers need to do is log in and all their classes are there ready,” Matt Evans, IT Manager at Excalibur, explains.
“Thanks to Salamander, our schools have been able to continue to deliver learning outside of the classroom during the pandemic, while our staff concentrate on what matters most, instead of spending time on lengthy admin tasks.”
