COVID-19 Support update – 17th March 2020

As we work as a community to prepare for the impact of COVID-19 and the impact that it has on Education, I wanted to share how we are approaching the current situation and the steps we are taking to minimize any negative impact on the services we deliver.

We are committed to keep providing our support services for our customers and are working very hard to support the increase in support requests we’ve had as schools prepare themselves in this time of uncertainty.

We have taken these steps and will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves:

  • As a remote based organisation, all our employees are already home workers and so there will be no change to our normal method of working. Our day to day work is using Cloud solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Azure and will continue as normal.
  • We have reduced the number of projects we are working on outside of providing support and installations for customers. This in order to ensure that as many people as possible are available to support our existing customers.
  • Although we are currently continuing with new installations, we have reduced the number of people focussing on them to ensure that we can support our existing customers as a priority.
  • We have suspended all non-essential travel for our team and have cancelled our participation in events and meetings until at least 31st March.

We are reviewing and updating our plans now using the latest government advice and will continue to do as the situation evolves.
