We’re pleased to announce the release of Configuration Explorer – the newest addition to the Salamander Cloud Portal that gives school IT more visibility over their configurations.
At Salamander, we’re always working to improve our service to schools and multi academy trusts.
The Cloud Portal is where our customers can view and manage their Salamander Integration Suite installation.
The latest release is the Configuration Explorer, which provides an overview of your configurations, workflows, automations, and application properties.

Configuration Explorer gives you a deeper insight into how your automated processes are configured.
See your workflows clearly and view each automated process in a simple, visual layout.
You can easily understand what the system is doing without needing any technical knowledge.
Interactive and self-service
It’s easy and intuitive to use. You can zoom in and out, use the drop-down menu to jump between different processes and drill into specific maps to see how information flows through your setup.
Get full transparency into data flow, mapping and automation without requiring support intervention.
Multi-build oversight
If your organisation has more than one configuration, easily switch between them in one place. This is great if you’re managing multiple schools within a MAT.
Better governance and support
View default application properties, showing configured defaults such as OUs or group settings. This supports better governance and support conversations.
How to access Configuration Explorer
You can access Configuration Explorer via the Salamander Cloud Portal.
Note: you must have the correct permissions to do so.
