We’re excited to announce that SalamanderSoft is sponsoring ArborFest 2023, which is set to bring over 400 schools and trusts together to explore the theme of “Transforming the way schools work”.
Taking place on Thursday 26 January, this year’s ArborFest promises to be packed with inspiring talks, presentations and discussions delivered by experts within the education sector and school staff who use Arbor in their everyday school lives.
“We’re excited to sponsor ArborFest as Arbor is one of our partner companies who provide the MIS for many of our customers, helping our team provision, maintain and manage users in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple School Manager and more,” says Jon Atkinson, Managing Director of SalamanderSoft.
“With schools and trusts facing squeezed budgets, the challenge of Covid catch-up, and rapidly evolving policies, there has never been a more important time to explore the different ways schools can innovate to support students, staff, and their wider communities,” the Arbor team explains.
Predicted to be Arbor’s biggest in-person customer conference to date, the event will be split into three exciting stages.
The Main Stage explores “collaboration” as speakers deliver thought-provoking talks on building resilient teams and the different ways schools have used Arbor’s MIS to join up their communities. Education Journalist and co-founder of Teacher Tapp Laura McInerney wraps up the day with her keynote on how we can all influence DfE policy.
Meanwhile, over at the Data Stage, real-life Arbor users share their best advice for using data to drive parental engagement, reduce workload and inform planning.
The MAT Stage focuses on creating a cohesive multi academy trust as you grow. Hear from five MAT leaders as they discuss creating a culture of autonomy, centralising systems and strategies to respond to the cost-of-living crisis.
On top of all of this, you can join school-led roundtables to share ideas and best practices with fellow Arbor users.
“One thing I’m most looking forward to is talking with MAT Leaders about their challenges in IT provision and how we can support IT teams by giving them back the time to focus on the value-added pieces of your digital teaching and learning strategies.”
ArborFest is a free in-person event. Sign up for your free spot here.
If you can’t make it down to the event, they are livestreaming the day and you can grab an online-only ticket and get a digital delegate pack.
