The My Classes web part which comes with the MLG is very slow when you have hundreds of class sites in your portal. One school was even timing out the database while using the MLG My Classes part. We wrote the Salamander My Sites web part to solve this problem for our customers and have now made it available to the community.
Simply put, the Salamander My Sites document shows all the sub sites of a site which the user has permissions to see.
